Rob entered the investment business as a Financial Consultant in 1982. Before affiliating with Baird in the autumn of 2012, Rob was a First Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney locally, where he also had served for 10 years as the Branch Manager.
Rob holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designations from the College for Financial Planning. He also has earned an MBA from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in business from Purdue University. Rob has also served as a member of the National Board of Directors for the Portfolio Management Institute.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy, their four children, and six grandchildren. Rob has been active through the years serving the Evansville community on several civic boards, which include: the Rotary Club of Evansville, Aurora Homeless Service (past board president), The Evansville Day School (past board president), and currently he serves as the board President/Chief Volunteer Officer of the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana.
